My website isn't showing

Your website lives at yourname.hellotopaid.com. If it won't load, check these in order.

1. Is it published?

A site that's never been published shows Site not found.

1. Click Website in the menu.
2. Look at the tag at the top. If it says Draft, click Publish.

2. Are you using the right address?

Your exact address is shown at the top of the Website page, next to the Draft or Published tag. Click it to open your live site. It's based on your business name when you signed up, so it may not be what you'd guess.

3. Don't see your latest changes?

Edits only go live when you click Publish. Save draft keeps them private. After publishing, refresh the page in your browser.

4. Using your own domain?

If you've set up your own domain (like www.yourcompany.com), it only works after your domain's DNS points to us.

1. On the Website page, find the Domain box and look at the tag next to Your own domain. Connected means it's working. Waiting for DNS means it isn't pointing at us yet; the yellow box under it says what we found.
2. Log in to wherever you bought your domain (GoDaddy, Namecheap and so on).
3. Add the record shown in the Domain box: a CNAME for a www address, or an A record for a bare domain like yourcompany.com. Remove any old records for the same name.
4. Click Check now. DNS changes can take from a few minutes to a day to spread.

We set up the secure (https) connection for your domain automatically once DNS is working. Your yourname.hellotopaid.com address keeps working the whole time.

5. Works on your phone but not at the office?

Some office networks use a web filter that blocks new sites. Try on cellular. If it loads there, ask whoever runs the office network to allow hellotopaid.com.
