A recurring job books its own visits on a schedule: every week, every two weeks, once a month, and so on. Set it up once on the web and the visits keep coming.
Make a job recurring
- Open the job in Work → Jobs.
- On the Schedule card, switch One-off to Recurring.
- Fill in the schedule fields (listed below).
- Click Save schedule. You'll see how many visits were booked.
The schedule fields:
- Repeats: every 1 to 12 weeks or months.
- On: the weekdays, for weekly schedules. Monthly visits land on the same day of the month as the start date.
- Starts and Ends: leave Ends as Never to keep going.
- Time and Length: when each visit starts and how long it takes.
- Team: who's assigned to every visit.
How it works
- Visits are booked about six months ahead and keep rolling forward on their own.
- The job page shows the next few visits and the last few completed ones.
- Recurring jobs show a Recurring tag in the jobs list.
Change or stop a schedule
- Change it: edit the schedule and click Save schedule. Upcoming visits are rebuilt. Completed visits never change.
- Move one visit: drag it on the Schedule or open it and change the time. That visit is then left alone when the schedule is rebuilt.
- Stop it: set an Ends date, click Complete job, or switch back to One-off (upcoming booked visits are removed).
Heads up: Completing or archiving a recurring job cancels all of its remaining visits.
Invoicing works the same as any job: click Create invoice on the job. See Create and send an invoice.
