Templates give you a head start: a typical job for your trade with line items, prices and a few optional upgrades your customer can add. Change anything you like; the template itself stays the same for next time.

Start a quote from a template on the web
- Go to Work → Proposals.
- Click From template.
- Find the one that fits and click Use.
- A new draft opens with the template's name as the title, the line items in Base scope and an Optional upgrades group your customer can tick.
- Pick the Customer, write the Scope of work, and change the items and prices to match the job.
- Click Save, then send it. See Send a quote and track it.
Start one on your phone
- In the app, tap Quotes, then +.
- Under Start from a template, tap the one you want.
- The new quote opens. Tap Edit to make it yours.
Tip: Templates use placeholder prices. To keep your real prices handy for every quote, save them to your Product catalog.
Heads up: The templates are built in; you can't save your own. To reuse a quote you've already built, open it and click Duplicate, then change the title and customer.
